Biluochun Green Tea
Biluochun Green Tea – Spring Spirals, Floral Nectar & Fruit Orchard Mist One of China’s most cherished green teas, hand-rolled into tiny, silver-fuzzed spirals that resemble snail shells. Harvested in early spring from the Dongting mountains, Biluochun is legendary for its intense floral aroma and a delicate sweetness inherited from the fruit trees that grow alongside the tea bushes.

The Spirit of Spring Biluochun translates to “Green Snail Spring,” a name that perfectly captures its tightly curled shape and vibrant emerald hue. This tea is famous for its “four perfections”: striking shape, bright color, heady fragrance, and mellow taste. It is a tea of extreme delicacy, consisting of thousands of tiny, tender buds in every batch.
A Symphony of Flavors
-
Aroma: An immediate burst of fresh spring air, followed by distinct notes of white peach, apricot blossom, and a hint of roasted bean.
-
Taste: Exceptionally clean and crisp. The sweetness is reminiscent of rock sugar and tropical fruits, with no harshness or heavy tannins.
-
Texture: Refreshingly light and “juicy.” It leaves a cooling, sweet sensation on the tongue that lingers long after the cup is finished.
The Perfect Daily Ritual
-
Afternoon Uplift: The perfect “pick-me-row” for a slow afternoon, providing a bright, clear-headed focus.
-
Sensory Experience: Brew it in a glass to watch the tiny spirals “dive” and unfurl—a meditative sight that is part of the tea’s charm.
-
Gift of Nature: High in antioxidants and amino acids (L-theanine), it is as beneficial for the body as it is delightful for the senses.
