Description

Description

The Alchemy of Time Unlike any other tea, Ripe Pu-erh undergoes a unique “piling” process (Wo Dui), a slow fermentation that transforms the fresh leaves into a dark, soul-warming elixir. Our Loose Leaf Pu-erh is selected for its balance—offering the complexity of an aged cake with the convenience of loose tea.

A Symphony of Flavors

  • Aroma: A deep, comforting scent of damp forest floor, roasted nuts, and antique wood.

  • Taste: The infusion pours a thick, ink-like dark brown. The flavor is rich and savory, reminiscent of dark chocolate and sun-dried autumn leaves, with a natural sweetness that lingers on the throat.

  • Texture: Exceptionally smooth and “thick” on the palate. It lacks the astringency of green tea, providing a heavy, velvety mouthfeel that is deeply satisfying.

The Perfect Daily Ritual

  • Digestive Companion: Traditionally prized in the East for aiding digestion and metabolism, making it the perfect post-meal tea.

  • Grounding Energy: Provides a calm, steady focus without the jitters, ideal for long work sessions or moments of deep reflection.

  • Resilient Leaves: This tea is remarkably hardy; it never turns bitter, no matter how long you steep it, making it a reliable companion for busy days.
